PROFESSOR MR. PIETER VAN VOLLENHOVEN AND THE FM-50
After an extensive demonstration and a week of test driving, it was quickly settled. From now on, Professor Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven can wonderfully combine the all-electric FM-50 and his passion for photography. "With great pleasure I bought an electric transporter FM-50 from Mr. Theo de Jong - director and owner of Frisian Motors BV - in 2013.
DELIVERED: A LEFFERT FM-50 FOR BEN WOLDRING
Recently we can add another BN'er as the owner of a Leffert. None other than Ben Woldring has become the proud driver of a Leffert FM-50. After a short demonstration, the choice was quickly made. The distinctive features of 60 km/h and 100% electric drive really appealed to Ben.
SCHIERMONNIKOOG GOES FOR SUSTAINABLE
Lady Jakoba now delivers your meals 100% sustainably. The Smit family has been delivering delicious meals and regional products throughout the island of Schiermonnikoog for years. Previously, they used the time-honored Italian ice cream truck made by Piaggio, but unfortunately it had died after many miles driven.
RECREATION PARK DE MOLENHOF IN WEERSELO CHOOSES 3 LEFFERTS FM-50
The previous Gators were now depreciated and in need of replacement. In the search for a replacement alternative, electric drive was a requirement, given the advantages of less noise and less maintenance. And so the eye fell on the Leffert FM-50 from Frisian Motors. The machines came with an additional speed limiter that, depending on the assigned ignition key, have a speed of 15 km/h or 60 km/h.
KRUIDVAT AND TREKPLEISTER SWITCH TO ELECTRIC
Heteren is home to one of the largest distribution centers in the Netherlands. From here, all branches of Trekpleister and Kruidvat are served, both in the Netherlands and in Belgium. The owner, AS Watson Group, chose Frisian Motors' electric transporter for the internal transport.
STATE FORESTER TESTS THE FM-50
Staatsbosbeheer Regio Schoonloo-Orvelte did an extensive test with our electric transporter. All employees were able to take a test drive through forest and heathland and this was eagerly used. "We saw a lot of electric vehicles. Those did not like the bad forest roads. They got stuck: they were more like golf carts. But the one from Frisian Motors surpassed anything we saw.
COA OPTS FOR LEFFERT
Earlier this year, the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) chose to use Frisian Motors' electric transporters. "The often expansive sites at the asylum seekers' centers are no longer walkable," explains facility management staff member Unit North Arnold Lutke. The janitors (Technical Services) on location eagerly use the vehicles to their full satisfaction.
Cees and Geraldine Blaauw from Normandy France mow with the Rimmert FM-70
Cees and Geraldine first came to Frisian Motors at the end of 2016. Right away they were enthusiastic about us and the products. Cees and Geraldine have a beautiful French campsite and focus well on making it sustainable. Besides the environmental point of view, the little noise produced was also important to them. Because also in France the grass wants to grow well and the couple generates their own electricity with their solar panels, they also wanted to start electric mowing. For this they came to the right place. Pretty soon they decided that an FM-70 had to be transported to Normandy. Now, a year later, we are still receiving positive reports from France. Cees still mows on the FM-70 every week under the glorious French sun.
