The previous Gators were now depreciated and in need of replacement. In the search for a replacement alternative, electric drive was a requirement, given the advantages of less noise and less maintenance. And so the eye fell on the Leffert FM-50 from Frisian Motors. The machines came with an additional speed limiter that, depending on the assigned ignition key, have a speed of 15 km/h or 60 km/h.
