Grant scheme for new 'Heavy User' Prototype

The aim of this project is to develop from 'scratch' a heavier duty prototype (work) vehicle - an electrically powered 'heavy use' E-UTV. This vehicle can be easily adapted by the user from a 2-seat vehicle with large cargo box, to a 4-seat vehicle with smaller cargo box. The electric 'heavy use' E-UTV should receive a European RDW type approval N1 category ("light commercial vehicles" up to 3,500 kg), clearly distinguishing it from the existing products of Frisian Motors BV. The intended carrying capacity - compared to Frisian Motors BV's existing vehicles - will more than double to about 1,000 kg and the battery power should double to 20 kWh. This will soon allow the vehicle to operate for a full working day without having to recharge in between. The electric 'heavy use' E-UTV will be so robust that it will be suitable for intensive use in the rental market.
