Frisian Motors takes third place at national innovation award

During the first day of the GroenTechniek Holland fair in Biddinghuizen was the presentation of the ambitious Golden Clover Four. An award for the most innovative developments in the green sector. From 63 entries, the jury selected 11 leading nominations that were worthy of a second judging. Frisian Motors took3rd prize with Europe's first fully electric zero-turn mower. The Golden Four-leaf clover is an initiative of branch organization Fedecom.

"A good Dutch pioneer" is how the jury described Frisian Motors. After a long period of development, they are therefore very happy with this award. For the machine manufacturer from Bakkeveen this is a big boost.

The award-winning Rimmert FM-170 is a full-size zero-turn mower for large private and semi-professional use. Available with maintenance-free AGM lead or lithium batteries. Cutting times start at 1 hour and can be extended to a maximum of 3 hours. Steering is done with 2 steering levers that each control a wheel motor. Mowing is done with 2 electric motors directly on the cutting board. So no more hassle with belts, oil and gasoline. The mower is powered by a 48 volt system with a total power of 5 kW.
