The new agricultural license plate for Leffert vehicles
Do you own a Leffert vehicle with truncated triangle on the back and agricultural papers? These vehicles must now be converted to an agricultural license plate. You can transfer the vehicle in the following way:
Transferring your Leffert agricultural vehicle
The registration and license plate requirement applies to all Leffert vehicles that were delivered with agricultural papers and therefore have no license plate but a truncated triangle on the back. These are all vehicles delivered before December 31, 2020(including GV license plate). Registering in the agricultural license plate register and applying for a license plate can easily be done online.
**Please note that these agricultural versions have a T-1, -3 or -5 certificate and are not registered as L7! **
If you do have a signed L7e version and also want to register it as an agricultural vehicle, you must have the vehicle re-inspected again at a selected RDW station. This with the same conditions and costs as a new inspection. Frisian Motors can guide you through this process or even take it off your hands.
Registering
Registration in the agricultural license plate register must be done by the owner himself at the RDW. You can log in to the RDW website using eRecognition or DigiD. You can then enter a maximum of 10 registration items per vehicle.
To register your Leffert use the following items (copy these exactly)

Register

Note!
Register the vehicle before December 31, 2021! If you do not do this, the vehicle will not be allowed on the road as of December 31, 2021.
Other business:
RDW Registration costs 18 euros plus the cost of 1 license plate that replaces the orange triangle. You can order the license plate (model type 27.10, motorcycle plate) at an authorized dealer or at Frisian Motors. A license plate holder with lighting can be ordered at Frisian Motors for €42.50 ex vat. If your Leffert has a GV (border traffic) license plate, it can be transferred to the new agricultural license plate, you will be notified by the RDW. Once you have registered your license plate, please inform your insurer.
New vehicles:
New vehicles delivered as of Jan. 1, 2021, will be delivered to you with kentown and proper paperwork. You only need to register the vehicle in your name.
