Boels Rental chooses Frisian-made electric vehicles!

Last year, some vehicles were delivered to Boels as an initial pilot. Meanwhile, the last of Boels' vehicles have been delivered. These electric Leffert transport vehicles will be rented by Boels from 750 branches in 18 European countries. In this, Boels and Frisian Motors contribute to a nice step towards a CO2 neutral future!

Last week was the day! Boels' last vehicles have now been delivered. In one year, a second pilot of electric transporters has been delivered to the rental chain. The electric transporters are used in several sectors, such as road and water construction, event sites and for internal transport. The electric site carrier is a convenient transport vehicle for transporting people and goods over short distances. The Leffert is suitable for towing trailers, off-road capable and comes with road approval. In other words, you can use the site carrier on public roads and, by means of a license plate, it is indispensable for many target groups.

One of the vehicles ordered by Boels Rental is the electric Leffert FM-100 4×4. The first four-wheel drive four-seater in Europe! This is a two motor system with therefore a large power output. A first for Frisian Motors. Driving over unpaved terrain is no longer a problem with this! By adding the Leffert FM-100 4×4 to its delivery package, Frisian Motors now offers five different electric vehicle types! All suitable for rough terrain.

The cooperation between Frisian Motors and Boels is a nice step towards a sustainable society. In recent years, Boels Rental has been busy making its rental fleet more sustainable. Since electric machines are a hot item in the construction, infra and event industry, Boels is currently investing a lot in electric machines. For example, in recent years they have invested in electric Shovels, telehandlers, aerial work platforms, etc. As of now, the electric Lefferts of Frisian Motors from the Frisian town of Bakkeveen can also join the list.

Frisian motors is an assembly manufacturer that has mastered the technology to introduce practical electrically powered feed and implement vehicles in the Netherlands. The mission of Frisian Motors is that these vehicles have a price level equivalent to a fuel model. Only in this way is it possible for everyone to work on improving the environment and to be able to make direct use of the many practical advantages of electric vehicles. For example, they are quieter to use and with fewer moving parts, you have less wear and tear and therefore less maintenance. Of course, you save substantially on fuel costs and can refuel whenever and wherever you want. "You just plug it in" it can be that simple.
