DELIVERED: A LEFFERT FM-50 FOR BEN WOLDRING
Recently, we were able to add another Dutch celebrity as the owner of a Leffert. None other than Ben Woldring has become the proud driver of a Leffert FM-50. After a short demonstration, the decision was made quickly. The characteristic features of 60 km/h and 100% electric drive really appealed to Ben.
SCHIERMONNIKOOG CHOOSES SUSTAINABILITY
Vrouwe Jakoba now delivers your meals 100% sustainably. The Smit family has been delivering delicious meals and regional products on the entire island of Schiermonnikoog for years. Previously, they used the well-known historic Piaggio ice cream cart, but unfortunately it passed on after having driven many kilometres.
LEISURE PARK DE MOLENHOF IN WEERSELO CHOOSES 3 LEFFERTS FM-50
The preceding Gators had depreciated and needed replacing. Electric driving was a requirement in the search for a replacement alternative, given the benefits of less noise and less maintenance. That is how the Leffert FM-50 of Frisian Motors caught their eye. The machines are supplied with an additional speed limiter which, depending on the assigned ignition key, has a speed of 15 km/h or 60 km/h.
KRUIDVAT AND TREKPLEISTER ARE SWITCHING TO ELECTRIC
One of the largest distribution centres of the Netherlands is located in Heeteren. All branches of Trekpleister and Kruidvat are served from here, both in the Netherlands and in Belgium. The owner, AS Watson Group, has opted for the electric transporter of Frisian Motors for their internal transport.
STAATSBOSBEHEER TESTS THE FM-50
Staatsbosbeheer Schoonloo-Orvelte region has done an extensive test with our electric transporter. All employees were given the opportunity to take a test drive through forest and heathland, and they jumped at the opportunity. “We have seen many electric vehicles. They did not much agree with the bad forest roads. They got stuck: they were more like golf carts. But the Frisian Motors vehicle surpassed everything we have seen.
COA CHOOSES LEFFERT
The COA (Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers) opted for the use of electric transporters from Frisian Motors at the start of this year. “The often extensive grounds at the asylum seekers’ centre locations can no longer be covered on foot,” says Arnold Lutke, Staff member departmental affairs Unit Noord. The caretakers (Technical Service) on location eagerly make use of the cars to their complete satisfaction.
CEES AND GERALDINE BLAAUW FROM NORMANDY DO THEIR MOWING WITH THE RIMMERT FM-70
Cees and Geraldine visited Frisian Motors for the first time in 2016. They were instantly enthusiastic about us and our products. Cees and Geraldine own a beautiful campsite in France and are very focused on making it more sustainable. In addition to the environmental argument, the low sound emission that is produced was also important to them. Because the grass in France also grows well and the couple generate their own electricity with their solar panels, they also wanted to mow electrically. With us, they came to the right place. They soon realised that an FM-70 had to be transported to Normandy. Now, a year later, positive messages still arrive from France. Cees still mows every week with the FM-70 under the delightful French sun.
